Audrey’s spring senior session was definitely one of my favorite senior sessions to date. The lighting couldn’t have been more perfect, especially when paired with the Almond Blossoms. You can’t go wrong with an Almond Blossom Spring Session during golden hour.

However, Audrey was a trooper. The Almond Blossoms are beautiful, but it can be brisk since we are still in the middle of February. You would’t know why any of her portraits, but she was running to warm up with a jacket in between location changes.

The magical light for Audrey’s Spring Senior Session

Now the Almond Blossoms are a special location for your session. Did you know they are only in bloom for a very short amount of time? You heard that right. They only bloom for two weeks the middle to end of February every year.

Audrey choose to have a 2 hour senior session. In addition to the Almond Blossoms is we started at her families beautiful home and then we ended at Durham Park.

One thing to also keep in mind is you need to remember that these orchards are someones livelihood. You need to be respectful and you need to make sure you have permission to be on the property. Some don’t when you are taking photographs is climbing in the trees, picking the flowers, and don’t leave any trash behind.
