Verbena Fields Senior Session

Fall senior sessions are one of my favorites. Between the colors changing in the trees and sunset glow, it makes these senior sessions magical. Lexxi wanted to have her senior session in both Lower Bidwell Park and in a grassy field in Chico. It is the perfect way to capture Chico in the fall. I think I laughed the whole session while hanging out with Lexxi and her mom. I always look forward to learning about my seniors. I love chatting about where they are going, what they want to do with their lives, and just what ambitions they have.

Where is Lexxi going?

Lexxi is one of the few seniors I have worked with that is staying local for school. It is amazing how much she loves the area to want to stay here. Lexxi wants to get into the medical field. I think she will do great things and accomplish all that she wants to do. She has a great head on her shoulders and I hope things work out to where she doesn’t have to wait as long to get into the program, since I believe its typically a three year waiting period.

One of Lexxi’s outfits was a tribute to a softball coach that passed away. This was such a great way to honor someone that was special and made such an impact in her life. It is lovely that she has this memory to remember her coach.

I am so honored I had the pleasure to work with Lexxi and capture this season of life. Capturing high school seniors is such a highlight to what I get to do. Don’t get me wrong I love my wedding clients and hearing all about their love stories, but I just love working with seniors and getting to know who they are and what they want to do as they transition into the next chapter of life.
