I first met Monica and Shayne over zoom, because COVID has created a different approach to my consultations! I could tell right away they were going to be fun joyous couple to work with. For their engagement session we decided to shoot at two different locations to get a beautiful greenery look, as well as shooting in a location that showcased a beautiful fall backgrounds! Monica and Shayne arrived at our first shooting location, White Ranch Events looking absolutely stunning! Minus a little wind throughout the evening, it went perfectly. After about an hour of shooting at the White Ranch we ventured to Upper Bidwell Park for those beautiful fall backgrounds and the dreamy sunset photos. I can’t wait to capture their special day in October 2021!

 

 

THIER LOVE STORY

Monica and Shayne have been together for about 6 years. They first saw one another while working at the same store and they knew it was fate. Shayne saw Monica and just knew he needed to get to know her. Shayne wrote his number down on a piece of receipt paper and gave it to Monica. The two of them went for a long car ride for a first date. This was perfect for the two of them as they are both homebodies. From that moment on their love began to blossom.

 

Even though it sounded like a CRAZY thought, Shayne took the leap and moved in after only one month of dating. They both knew it was meant to be and they worked so well together. There was no doubt that it was a wrong decision and their love only grew from there. Monica even quoted Stephanie Perkins “Home is not a place, it is a person”. Finding one another, they both knew they were home and had found the person they could spend their lives with.
