Happy New Year! I made a goal to be more present with my audience and blog more. As a client you can expect to have your session blogged by me. I love sharing all the AMAZING images of my clients! The photography side of my business in August of 2020. I am now taking you back to one of the first families I had the pleasure of photographing.

I first met Jayme at a graduation BBQ when she graduated college. She shared a class with my husband and we went to celebrate her. She has always been so kind to me from day one. At this time Jayme and Derrick were not together. I met Derrick separate from Jayme. I first met Derrick while out country swing dancing with my husband Derek. Believe me I know what your thinking, two Derek’s, isn’t that confusing? Let me tell you it can be especially when we are all together. They BOTH answer!! But it is always a good time when we get to hang out!

When we found out Jayme and Derrick were dating we couldn’t be more excited. We knew they were just the perfect fit and would be each others best friends. Derrick is wonderful with Jayme’s daughter and it is such a fun bond to watch continue to grow. I makes my heart so happy when my friends can find their true love matches. Two of of the many wonderful things about our friendship is they are always supportive as a friend and they spoil us with ice cream from Jayme’s family business. If you are local to the Chico area, then you haven’t lived until you go to Shubert’s Ice Cream.
