Would you believe me if I told you I first met Kendra + Josh in person on their wedding day? Well it is true. I took their wedding over from another photographer who was unable to capture their wedding day due to unforeseen circumstances. I met with the couple once over zoom and then for the first time in person on their wedding day! Right off the bat I knew they were a dream couple, because Kendra shares the same love for Disney as I do.
Kendra and Josh got ready in two different locations. They had their sweet ceremony at McNaughton Park in Fairfield. It was the perfect location to share their “I do’s” with their closest friends and family. From the moment I met with Kendra at the hotel while she was getting ready, she was glowing. A wedding day is always stressful, but you could tell how excited she was to marry her best friend. Not only did Kendra look like a princess on her beautiful day, but she had hidden hints of Disney throughout her day. She had a castle on her veil, hidden mickey’s in her floral bouquet, mickey jewelry and other small decor items.
The reception was located at the Maples wedding venue in Woodland, CA. It was the perfect setting for family pictures and those glowy sunset portrait you know I love. The evening couldn’t have been more perfect for the happy couple. For being a wedding during October, they couldn’t have asked for better weather. It wasn’t blazing hot and it wasn’t too cold yet. I wish there was more daylight when we arrived at the venue, because they have so many beautiful locations for portraits.
Check out more from their beautiful day below.

Fueled by equal parts coffee and wine, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. Whether it's your story, your love, or your accomplishment I can't wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.
And I can't wait to get to know you!
